The CBSE 2026 revaluation process consists of three online steps: marks verification, obtaining a scanned copy of the answer sheet, and challenging specific answers. This year, fees have been drastically reduced to ₹100 per subject for verification and ₹25 per question for re-evaluation.

Step 1: Verification of Marks

CBSE checks for totalling errors, unmarked
questions, and unrecorded marks.

Fee: ₹100 per subject.
Step 2: Scanned Copy of Answer

You can apply for a photocopy of your evaluated
answer script to check for discrepancies.
Step 3: Actual Re-Evaluation
·
If you find evaluation errors, you can challenge
specific questions for a thorough re-read by a subject expert.
·
Fee: ₹25 per question challenged.

Guidelines

Where to Apply: All applications must be
submitted online through the official CBSE Post-Result Activities Portal.

Prerequisites: You must apply for the
verification of marks (Step 1) in order to apply for the scanned copy and final
re-evaluation.
· Refunds: If your marks increase after the review, the board issues a refund for the challenge fees.
